The Opportunity!

Times have changed, and so has the education that we have all depended on for generations. Whether you think that is a bad thing or a good thing is an individual choice, but one thing that we know for sure is that in most schools, "faith" and "allegiance" have disappeared from the curriculum and have often been replaced with "other" things. Many teachers and educators oppose these types of changes, but feel their voices are not heard. The dream and passion to teach is still there, but it seems that "other things" have gotten in the way.

No set hours for "seat time". Just mastery of the work. In other words, as a pod leader you don't have to have a classes everyday and it can be online.

The Solution: CAM Pathways

CAM pods can begin as early as kindergarten, giving K–8 students a small, caring microschool environment where they build strong reading, math, and faith foundations through hands‑on projects, play, and personalized learning plans instead of one‑size‑fits‑all worksheets.

Families, churches, and community partners can host their own K–8 pod while staying connected to the CAM Pathways network for curriculum support, coaching, and a clear path into future apprenticeships and high‑school‑level opportunities.

A CAM pod is your own small, microschool‑style learning group—hosted in your home, church, or community space—yet connected to the larger CAM Pathways network for curriculum, coaching, apprentice pathways, and organized program support, so families keep local control while being part of a coordinated, high‑quality system.

Pod leaders do not have to be licensed teachers, but every adult who works directly with students in a CAM pod must complete all required background checks and screening to ensure a safe environment for students.

Your Pod is run by you (you can even name your micro-school), and you can choose to have it online, at a specific location like a church, or even at your home. As part of a 501c(3) non-profit, many organizations will let you use their space to host classes. We do the "behind the scenes" stuff.

This is a West Virginia program. The curriculum is approved and accredited, thus it is eligible for the "Hope Scholarship". This means that families who choose you to help their student be the best they can be will not have to pay additional tuition. However, it also means that you are paid for your daily efforts of sustaining our community's future citizens.
