The CAM Pathways Extra-Curricular Leadership Program is a 9th–12th grade initiative created specifically to support local school districts and their high school students. College credits can be earned for participation.
Empowering High School Students
Our extra-curricular program serves students in grades 9–12, providing a safe, structured space to build leadership, character, and career‑ready skills. Designed as a direct extension of the district’s goals, it aligns with academic standards while offering hands‑on, real‑world experiences that traditional schedules often can’t accommodate. Your class can choose or design a project, and we can work with our third-party college credit providers, to get it college credit acceptable in most case developing a competency-based project.
Built to Support Local Districts
This program is intentionally crafted to strengthen local school systems, not replace or compete with them. We work with district leaders and principals to integrate scheduling, space use, and communication so the program feels like a natural part of the school community. Our role is to help you increase student engagement, satisfaction, and long‑term success while reducing the burden on internal staff.
Leadership, Logic, and Business Skills
Through project‑based activities and guided challenges, students develop leadership, teamwork, and logical decision‑making skills that reinforce what they learn in class. They also build practical business acumen—understanding budgets, planning, customer service, and process improvement—so they can see how their education connects to real opportunities.
Raising Appreciation for Education
When 9–12 graders experience how skills from math, English, and social studies show up in real projects and business‑like scenarios, school becomes more relevant. This connection supports better attitudes toward learning, stronger relationships with teachers, and higher satisfaction with the overall school experience.
Investing Back Into Your Schools
As a nonprofit, CAM Pathways operates as a community partner, not just a vendor. A portion of program revenues is returned to participating districts to support local programs, enrichment initiatives, and fundraising efforts as part of our Community Partner Program. This means your high schools gain both a high‑impact 9–12 after‑school program and additional resources to advance district priorities.
Growing Tomorrow’s Workforce
By focusing on high school students at a critical stage in their development, the program helps build the next generation of local leaders and contributors to the regional labor force. Graduates are better prepared for apprenticeships, college, and entry‑level roles, reflecting positively on the district as a source of capable, work‑ready talent.
